This policy complies with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, organization, role, and contact details.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and device/browser information.

Social Media Monitoring Data: The Platform collects publicly available social media posts, news articles, and online discussions for the purpose of sentiment analysis and public opinion monitoring. This data is sourced from public channels and does not involve accessing private accounts or messages.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Perform sentiment analysis and generate public opinion reports
  • Provide crisis detection and alert services
  • Generate regional and topic-based intelligence dashboards
  • Improve the Platform's features, accuracy, and performance
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing Policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share data in the following circumstances:

  • With Government Client Agencies: Sentiment analysis reports and intelligence dashboards are shared with authorized government agencies that are subscribed to the Platform as part of the contracted service.
  • Service Providers: We may engage trusted third-party providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Secure hosting on Supabase with row-level security policies
  • Role-based access controls and authentication
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Employee training on data privacy and security best practices

As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights:

Retention periods vary by plan tier (7 days to 1 year for monitoring data). Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and a reasonable period thereafter.

The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Platform.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
